Very Cool Last Night!

Very cool last night! A big open house at Power of Fitness Gym in Palm Desert California. Complete with a huge poster for Pro Fight Supplements that I had photographed for their ad campaign with bodybuilder, fitness model and celebrity trainer Jake Sawyer.

Professional horse trainer and personal trainer, Victoria is one of the most determined and creative people I know. I also find it fascinating that she grew up in the circus traveling throughout Russia, Eastern Europe and Asia as well as here in the USA. So very fun! Victoria Kirsanova!

Who do you have walking out of your swimming pool? Larissa Reis was more than happy to do some shooting in the water, it was really hot here in Palm Springs that day. Of course she only made it hotter!

Across The Ocean to Ride A Bike!

She just makes me smile! Koko Uniewski found herself in Palm Springs all the way from her home in Japan and in front of my cameras in the desert. Putting on more air miles than you could imagine for her "day job", she is also dedicated to fitness, competing in Figure shows on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. And she sure makes a bicycle look good... and fun! Koko Uniewski!

Weather Report

I was told this morning that the weather is not quite as nice around the country as it is here in Palm Springs. So for you needing a reminder of what "Sunny" looks like, here is the beautiful Sherry Goggin from our photo shoot nearby in the desert among the wind farms. I hope this helps!

It's All Green... Energy!

Modernism Week here in Palm Springs finds an all battery powered Tesla Roadster parked outside an all solar pre-fab display home. I am proud to be working with my friends at Green Galaxy Enterprises on a photo project to bring the world of renewable energy to more of the public.

Maybe we will get to use some Tesla Roadsters in our project! 300 horsepower and 0-60 in 3.7 seconds on no gasoline sounds good to me! Plug it in and it is good for 245 miles... Very Cool!

Cute Blonde Packing Muscle!

She is a cute blonde packing some muscle! And her big smile makes me smile too! IFBB Professional Bodybuilder Tina Chandler will be the lighting up the stage at the Arnold in a few short weeks just as big as that smile lights up the desert in our photo shoot. And her personality and outlook on life is as big as that smile too! Tina Chandler...!

In Front And Behind My Camera!

Natalie Lyle, in front of my camera instead of behind it. Natalie is the MakeUp Artist and Hair Stylist on so very many of my photo shoots. So very talented and so very fun. At 6ft tall in her bare feet she is pretty impressive in front of the camera too! By the way that makes her 6-5 in heels, Wow!

"LOOK GOOD NAKED!" - How many times do we hear that? Well nobody said it better than Maria Rogers!

This video was shot during my photo shoot with Maria Rogers for a widely published print ad campaign for Bodybuilding.com.

The video itself is a promotional video we created for Bodybuilding.com to promote their now hugely successful BodySpace community of over 1,000,000 members.

One Of My All Time Favorite Photos!

Another of my favorite all time photographs I have shot along the way. Bodybuilder Sean Jones the day after his overall win at Muscle Beach Venice California.

Sean showed up from New Jersey for that show looking ripped and symmetrical. I think it was the best look we have seen on any bodybuilder at the Summer shows at Muscle Beach. Good going Sean!

What I Most Love About Women...

What I love most about a woman... her face. And the beautiful face of amateur figure competitor Koko Uniewski called to my camera very clearly. Visiting from her home in Japan, we photographed her in the desert near Palm Springs to show off the hard work she has put into creating her physique. But I could never overlook that stunningly exquisite face!

Many people have asked! So here is a close up from our photo shoot of the beautiful Cara Basso. An actress, model, dancer... Cara brings a message of health and fitness to so many people. One of the most creative, quirky, positive, interesting and talented people I know, my good buddy, Cara Basso!

25 Floors Up!

I remember Cara asking me if she could get up and walk and pose on that little wall along this outside deck! I said no to that one! We were something like 25 floors up! The amazing, adventuresome, beautiful, talented and fun Cara Basso!

ProFight Supplements 30 Seconds

Much about my friend Sherry Goggin being featured in TapouT Magazine this month as Ms. TapouT. Sherry is one of the premier faces and bodies in our world of bodybuilding and fitness. She has long since earned the respect of all who know her and know of her. Mr. Olympia's First Time!

Now that he is the reigning Mr. Olympia, we see Phil Heath everywhere in the magazines. But here is a special photo for you. This is Phil winning his first IFBB Professional Bodybuilding competition at the 2006 Colorado Pro. And you can see his huge personality that made him a fan favorite along with that amazing physique.

At only 5-9 Phil originally was on the basketball team at the University of Colorado. He did his first NPC bodybuilding show in 2003 and look where he is now!

By the way, this is certainly one of my all time favorite show photos that I have ever photographed.

Big Daniel Hill...

Just saw Daniel at the Los Angeles FitExpo and had a chance to talk about his latest plans, both in business and bodybuilding. He is truly one guy who you can describe as a "go getter"! A good guy to be around and a good guy to know. Keep watching for more of Daniel Hill!

Helping Out!

Doing good by motivating, helping is lots of different ways. Jake Sawyer does that training clients and being an example of what people want to be, healthy and fit.

Now Jake is helping more, he is building a foundation to help returning Veterans like himself find their way back, a huge number of them wounded in ways that are more than physical. Doing Good!

Andy Haman been a friend since I first met him at Nationals in Florida some years ago and did a photo shoot and story about him for Bodybuilding.com. Back then he was a new guy in bodybuilding. 

Now everybody knows Andy, you see him in most magazines every month. Back then he told me about how much his wife and family supported his career. Now they are part of his career, seldom to you see Andy without his wonderful wife Michelle by his side and even his kids on stage with him!

Personally I am very proud to know Andy and cannot help but admire what he has done, the message he brings and the man and his family that he is!

The Best Fun!

The best part of the Los Angeles FitExpo for me? Seeing lots of great people and friends! Def Leppard's Phil Collen greeted fans talking about his commitment to health and fitness. And among the Def Leppard fans is my buddy, fitness personality Nancy Di Nino, who I had not seen in a couple of years. Great fun!

From New Zealand!

The beautiful and striking Raechelle Chase, IFBB Figure Professional, fitness model, writer, motivator, clothing designer and Mom of three!

All the way from New Zealand I wanted to make sure she had something Palm Springs memorable in our photo shoot. And these wind farms are very Palm Springs. And memorable it was! After shooting in the gym I knew we would be facing the afternoon winds. Wind gusts at up to 50 mph at times almost knocked her down and sure kept her hair blowing. And later we found out there had been a 5.4 earthquake that we didn't even feel because of the wind. Too Fun! Every photo shoot is an adventure! Thank You Raechelle Chase!

Hold You Horses!

Thanks to so very many of you at the FitExpo who came up and were so complimentary about my photo shoots with the horses and Victoria Kirsanova!

We shot many scenes but this one was especially fun. Victoria with both horses coming at me in the stream. Shooting with a long lens I could not actually tell how close they were as we shot this scenario a few times. In this last one, the horses were pretty excited and not pulling up. I held in place on my knees in the water and finally moved as they stopped arms length in front of me. I heard my assistant behind me scrambling away some moments before, it was very cool!

Victoria Kirsanova is an extraordinary individual; professional horse trainer, professional personal trainer, champion fitness bikini competitor. She actually grew up performing in the circus across Russia, Europe, Asia and the USA. Love that girl! And Thank You for all the kind words!
